Junior Golf

The Optimist Junior Golf Program is an exciting and unique golf program for ages 10-18.

Boys and girls around the world compete in official Optimist qualifying tournaments. The best of these golfers advance to the annual Optimist International Junior Golf Championships.

SWONT District 16-18 boy winner and the 15-18 girl winner will each receive $1,200 toward their expenses to attend the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship (OIJGC).

All SWONT Optimist Clubs are encouraged to organize a local Junior Golf Tournament to choose skilled players to attend the regional qualifying Optimist Golf Tournament.
